Yawanawá Tsunu Rapé is one of the most traditional blends of the Amazon, prepared with Arapiraca Corda Tabaco and the sacred ashes of the Tsunu tree. Known as Rumã in the Yawanawá language, it is considered their daily staple and is central to ceremony, bathing, and prayer. This finely sieved grey Rapé is sharp on entry yet quickly settles into a calm, grounding clarity, often with watery eyes and an uplifting sense of release. The Yawanawá carry an ancestral legacy of Rapé as a medicine of power, passed down through shamanic diets, initiations, and myths of origin. Today, both men and women, including leaders like Putanny and Hushahu, preserve this tradition as a living connection to their forest and songs.
