Ceremonial Cacao Instant Mix with Warming Spices

This ready-to-use blend combines raw Peruvian cacao paste with traditional warming spices, so preparing a ceremonial-grade cacao drink takes nothing more than hot water or milk. The cacao base comes from farmer cooperatives in the Peruvian Amazon, cold-pressed from unroasted beans to preserve the full theobromine profile. The spice blend is already mixed in at the right ratios.

The formula includes cardamom, Ceylon cinnamon, nutmeg, a gentle touch of chilli, tonka bean, poppy seed and vanilla. These spices are not random additions. Cinnamon and chilli have traditionally been paired with cacao since pre-Columbian times, and several of these spices are known to support the absorption of cacao's active compounds.

Peruvian Amazon Cacao Base

The raw cacao paste (Theobroma cacao) is the unprocessed form of cacao, produced by crushing unroasted beans with a stone mill. Because the beans never see roasting temperatures, the heat-sensitive compounds remain intact. The Peruvian Amazon origin brings an earthy, slightly bitter base with floral notes, distinct from the fruitier Ecuadorian varieties. Coconut blossom sugar rounds out the blend without overpowering the cacao character.

What spices are in this ceremonial cacao mix?

Raw cacao mass, coconut blossom sugar, poppy seed, chillies, tonka beans, salt, Ceylon cinnamon, nutmeg, cardamom and vanilla. All spice components carry certification. The spices are pre-blended at ratios that complement the cacao character.

Can I use this mix for group ceremonies?

Yes. The instant format is specifically practical for groups because it eliminates the need to grate or chop paste and measure spices separately. Add hot water or milk, stir, and serve
