Martin Duffy is one of the leading voices on Shamanism in the world today having worked as a mental health professional for over 35 years. He is an accredited Jungian, Transpersonal and Humanistic Psychotherapist. He has trained with Indigenous Shaman’s in the Amazon, Andes, South Africa, Mexico and Mongolia. He has also trained with Stanislav Grof as a Holotropic Breathwork facilitator and Transpersonal Therapist. Martin’s work is heavily influenced by the Druidic traditions of ancient Ireland. He comes from a lineage of traditional Folk Healers following in the footsteps of his mother and grandfather. He has been the director of The Irish Centre for Shamanic Studies for over 30 years and has been teaching Shamanism and Transpersonal Psychology for over 40 years.
